Cortona is a charming town located on the side of a mountain in Val di Chiana and the Tiber Valley and boasts ancient Etruscan origins, whose remains are still visible along the old walls. The current historic center dates back to the thirteenth century and is built around the Town Hall, the Church of St. Francis and the People's Palace, with narrow streets, historic buildings and breathtaking views of the fascinating Valdichiana with its rolling hills.

The Relais Villa Petrischio is located in the heart of Tuscany, in Farneta di Cortona. Surrounded by a park of three hectares of pines and cypresses, the relay offers a stunning view over the Chiana Valley. Built in the eighteenth century on the highest hill in the area, the villa belonged to the Counts Lambardi that made this oasis of serenity as their residence. The current owners have transformed this old house into a cozy and elegant four star Relais. A large wooden frame and glass overlooking the valley is home to the restaurant, also overlooking the swimming pool, from which you can enjoy the spectacle of a privileged nature for the harmony of colors, the sweetness of the landscape and the incomparable sunsets.
